As we near #DynamicCon2022, my mind has been focusing on my speaking topic- “The Talent Within”. With each new article, blog post, and hashtag I read about “The Great Resignation”, I can’t help but think “We need to act NOW!” We need to keep our talent and not give them reason to WANT to go!
Great leaders know that we cannot assume people will stay. We ask them – Are you satisfied here? Are you engaged? What do you want to do next? And if the answer is “no”, or “I don’t know”, then we aren’t doing something right, and we need to act! My years in a recruiter role strengthened my belief that “Retention is the best recruitment tool!” Join us at Dynamic Con as we discuss keeping, growing, and capitalizing on “The Talent Within” our own doors.
And speaking of the conference – there’s still time to register! Sign up now, as we have limited the seats to allow proper spacing. This one day event on Friday January 14th at Aloft Hotel – Jacksonville offers 4 HRCI/SHRM certification credits and an entire lineup of engaging DCSI speakers.
Senior Training Consultant Darrin Finley will be challenging us all with a simple question: Would you rather have agreement or conflict? Darrin will be sharing first-hand lessons on (spoiler alert!) why agreement can actually be much more toxic than conflict.
If you’ve attended HR Florida the past few years, you’ve likely heard our Vice President of Consulting, Megan Richardson, share many candid #HRFail stories with her “Let’s Learn from” Series, including “Let’s Learn from Uber”, “Let’s Learn from Amazon” and more! The series is so popular that she decided to bring it home and present an engaging and all new “#HRFails” for DCSI’s very own HR conference!
The BEST part of Dynamic Con 2022 is that, along with listening to these DYNAMIC presentations, ALL ATTENDEES will actively participate in the event as well! Take part in polls, share your #HRFail stories, ask polling questions, and more using the interactive Slido event on your cell phone.
We all could use some refreshing engagement as we kick off 2022! Be sure to join us to discuss these exciting and timely topics. Sarah
